Our Founders

Ashwina & Ketan Gandhi

Ashwina, an interior and landscape designer, has worked with various prominent Architects on bungalows, offices, and showrooms spread across Pune, Nasik, and Jalgaon.

With a belief that learning never ends, she has attended several workshops on lighting design (by Philips) and more to sensitively strings theory, experience and intuition into her work.

She is also associated with prominent architects as an associate designer for interior and allied work for hospitals like Jehangir Hospital in Pune.

Ketan worked with M/S Horizon Interiors Pvt.Ltd. from 1992 to 2009 on large scale projects for corporates like Bajaj Auto Ltd., Finolex, Gabriel India, Spicer India Ltd., IBM Global, Behr India, IDBI and others.

After that, he worked as Senior Engineer with Prompt Landmark Pvt.Ltd. until 2014, before founding AKG Design Studio along with Ashwina.

His personal interest in architecture arose when he found it to be a field of work which allowed him to explore leading technologies in the world along with the scope to learn, grow and evolve with every project.

Complimenting each other in strength and weakness, the duo has come a long way since, and looks forward to the rest of the journey.

Our Two-Fold Working Methodology

Out of the mind, on to the paper:

First we host a brainstorming session with you to understand the inspiration behind developing the space

Next, we present to you certain concepts keeping in mind your budget and requirement

Having picked a certain direction, we detail the same to implement the concepts into a concrete design docket from the furniture layout plans to the rest of the space

From the paper to reality:

Once the designs are approved, we enter the first step towards execution with detailed working drawings

At this stage an optimized budget is also worked on covering civil, electrical, tiling, false ceiling furniture, paint, and other work.

Our team maintains a strict quality check on all procurement whether it is being sourced ready-made, or being made as per your customization.
